Cases
Case studies
A case without numbers and without a period is not a case, it is an anecdote. Below is the structure I use; the actual data still needs filling in.
Template
Task type for client or industry: result
| Client | name, or "B2B SaaS, 200+ staff" |
|---|---|
| Industry | industry |
| Market | country |
| Period | e.g. March – October 2024 |
| Service | SERM / ORM / SEO |
| My role | lead / strategist |
The problem
What the client arrived with, one paragraph — ideally a quote from the first call.
Starting point
Screenshot of the SERP plus metrics.
What I did
Stages with timings.
Result
Numbers with a period. "+34% brand traffic in six months", not "significant growth".
Client testimonial
Text, name, role, company.
Under NDA
I replace the name with the industry and company size, but never remove the period or the numbers. An anonymous case with specifics convinces; a named case without figures does not. Readers will not verify the name — they verify whether it sounds true.
